In memoriam: Radu Draganescu pаssed away

Romanian Basketball acting Secretary General Radu Draganescu has pаssed away this morning. The 57-year old Draganescu suffered from a long illness in the past months and saddly we lost him.

His life was dedicated to the basketball game having played and coached before working for Romanian federation. He was also a FIBA Europe commissioner.

Draganescu was one of the people who worked very actively for the development of EUROHOLD Balkan League from its start and was a key part in the first years of the competition. He was very helpful to the managament of the league and everybody in the organization lost a good friend today.
