Domestic leagues: Kozuv and Kumanovo 2009 keep their positions in the standings

KK Kozuv continues to be on top of the local league after 12 rounds. The team recorded another win as this time they defeated Pelister 82-72 away. Kozuv now has 12 wins and 2 losses and is the sole leader of the competition.
The team took a good lead of 11 points after the first quarter and kept it until the end. The hosts tried hard to make a comeback but the visitors were better in the decisive moments. Igor Mijalovic had a very good game with 24 points and 6 assists while Dimitar Karadjovski scored 11 points.
KK Kumanovo 2009 also had a victorious round in the league. The team defeated Rabotnicki 83-70 at home and with 7 wins and 5 losses is holding to the fourth position.
The home team had a superb first quarter after which they had a 33-9 lead. The second one though was tottaly different as Rabotnicki won it 23-8 and cut the deficit to 10 points. In the third quarter Kumanovo once again played better, increased the advantage and had no problems until the final buzzer. Aleksandar Kostoski was the top player for the win with 29 points including 6 triples. Anthony Lee-Ingram had 17 points as 9 added Marjan Janeski.
