Domestic Cups: Levski lost the final, Rilski Sportist finished third

Levski lost the final of Cup of Bulgaria tournament for third year in a row. The Blues from Sofia once again played against Lukoil Academic and they were defeated 73-84 in Varna.
Levski had the lead until the middle of the third quarter when the opponent made its decisive run. Lukoil outscored The Blues 18-2 in the final minutes of the quarter and suddenly took a 10-point advantage. In the last ten minutes they managed to keep it and won the Cup.
Top scorer for Levski was Chavdar Kostov with 21 points while Nikolay Varbanov and Marko Marinovic had 16 apiece.
The third place in the Cup was for Rilski Sportist. The team from Samokov defeated Yambol 81-72 and took the trophy for that position. Rilski had a great first half when they held a 20-point lead and then managed to keep it until the end.
Branko Mirkovic and Hristo Zahariev had 20 points for the win as Terry Smith added 10 points.
