Domestic leagues: Galil Gilboa with a dramatic away defeat

BC Galil Gilboa suffered a very dramatic defeat in 19th round of the local championship. The team played away at Maccabi Ashdod and lost by just 2 points, 84-86. With this defeat Galil now has 7-12 record and is tied for 9-11th position in the league.

Top scorer for Galil was Rakim Sanders who finished with 22 points. 16 points apiece had Dagan Yivzori and Mitchell Watt with the first having also 10 rebounds.

On Tuesday, March 5th, Galil Gilboa will play away against BC Kavala and two days later the team will visit Rilski Sportist in Samokov in its third and fourth games from Top 6 of EUROHOLD Balkan League. Then on March 10th the team is hosting Bnei Hasharon in the local league.
