Domestic leagues: Win for Kozuv, loss for Kumanovo 2009

KK Kozuv continues to be on top of the local league as the team won a derby game against Feni Industries. Both squads had 10-3 record before the match but after the team from Gevgelija won at home by 85-79 they now share the top position with Lirija.
After an even first half in which Kozuv had a 3-point advantage, the home team made a good third quarter and they increased the lead to 11 points managing to keep it until the end. Top scorer in the win was Miladin Pekovic with 27 points and very good played Slobodan Bozovic with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
KK Kumanovo 2009 lost to ABA Strumica away by a score 81-87. The team had a 6-point lead heading in to the last quarter but gave up in the end and lost the game. After this defeat Kumanovo is still 4th in the standings but now a longer way from the leaders having 8 wins and 6 losses.
Anthony Lee-Ingram had 18 points and 7 rebounds in the losing effort and Aleksandar Kostoski also scored 18 points.
