Levski is now sure for its position in the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The Blues from Sofia hosted Kavala today and won 88-73. Thanks to this the team is now with 6 wins and 2 losses in Top 6 and cannot be moved from the top four positions. Kavala is now with 3 victories and 6 defeats but still has a chance if the team wins its last game and the others go in their favour. Next match for Levski is against Rilski Sportist away on March 26th while Kavala will host KK Kumanovo 2009 on April 4th in the last round.

Kavala scored the first five points in the game and then Levski responded with a 10-0 run. Soon the team went to a 10-point advantage with a run of 7 straight points and after the first quarter the hosts were up 21-13. Shortly after the start of the second one Levski made another 10-0 run and the lead went up to 19 points. The team managed to keep the advantage and led 45-25 at the break.

In the second half Levski controlled the game and the margin was big. In the last quarter Kavala managed to cut the deficit to just 10 points but there was no trouble for Levski.

Top scorer for the home team was Stefan Georgiev with 20 points. Pavel Ivanov had 12 while 10 apiece had Dimitar Dimitrov and Zlatin Georgiev.

For the visitors Kieron Achara finished with 19 points and 7 rebounds while Sotirios Manolopoulos added 18 points.
