Daniel Dimevski re-elected as chairman of the federation of FYR of Macedonia

Daniel Dimevski will continue to be chairman of Macedonian basketball federation in the next four years. He was re-elected unanimously during the General Board meeting as there was no other candidate and all the delegats voted for Dimevski to have his third mandate at the top of the basketball in the country.

"We have a reason to be proud of what we did in the last years. It′s clear that the Men national team is the locomotive of everything that happens in our basketball. We are proud that in 8 years we managed to move up from Division B, to play in the european championships and to play successfully against the best teams in Europe. I feel good for the fact that our teams have stabilized as modern sports clubs and are fantastically representing our country in the regional competitions. We are proud with the results in ABA league and EUROHOLD Balkan League and we also hope that the number of teams that represent us in those competitions becomes even greater" said Dimevski after the voting.
