Domestic leagues: Win for Levski, Rilski Sportist lost to the champion

Levski took another victory in the local league after the team defeated Balkan 90-79 at home. With this the team now has 17 wins and 3 losses and is still in second place. In the next round The Blues will visit the champion Lukoil Academic.
Both teams had an interesting game but with a 10-2 run in the last quarter Levski took a 15-point lead which was enough. Chavdar Kostov had a very good game and finished with 27 points as 13 scored Dimitar Anguelov. Mladen Pantic had 10 points while Nemanja Protic added 9 in both players first game for the team.
Rilski Sportist played the champions Lukoil Academic and lost 76-90 away. Despite the defeat Rilski is still third in the league with 14 wins and 6 losses and has a 2 win advantage over the fourth placed team.
It was an even first half but the second one started with 11-3 run of Lukoil. Later the team scored 10 unanswered points and took a 20-point lead which was more than enough until the end. Angelo Caloiaro had 16 points and 9 rebounds for Rilski while Stanislav Vaklinov added 15 and 5.
