Important week ahead of Kumanovo 2009, the club is exploring the options to host the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League

Now in front of KK Kumanovo 2009 there is an important week with big games coming up for the team. First on March 26th Kumanovo will host Teodo in a match from Top 6 of EUROHOLD Balkan League. If they manage to win it they will qualify for the Final 4 in their first year in the regional competition. Then on March 29th Kumanovo will play quarterfinal of the local cup against Lirjia.

From the board of KK Kumanovo 2009 have already expressed a desire to host the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League if the team qualifies for it. However for this to happen there are some technical issues that need to be fixed in the gym where the games should be played. From the board are exploring all the options and working to fulfill all the obbligations. The local federation is also standing behind this eventual candidacy and will support the club.

Of course no decision regarding the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League will be taken before April 4th when the last round of the Top 6 will be played. As of now three teams are qualified - Levski, Galil Gilboa and Rilski Sportist. The other three in Top 6 - Kumanovo 2009, Kavala and Teodo are still with a chance to reach the Final 4 with a very important game in the competition coming up next week.
