Domestic cups: Kozuv and Kumanovo 2009 are through to the semifinal, set to meet each other

KK Kozuv and KK Kumanovo 2009 are through to the semifinal of the local cup. Both teams won their quarterfinal games and will play against each other later today for a place in the final.
Kozuv won 80-67 against Vardar in the quarterfinal. The team had the lead in the first three quarter but it wasn′t big and before the last ten minutes were up only by 3 points. The last quarter though was won 25-15 and they deserved their qualification. Slobodan Bojovic was the top player in the win with 22 points and 12 rebounds as Dimitar Karadjovski had 15 points.
KK Kumanovo 2009 is through after 103-89 victory against Lirija. The game had a lot of tension in it as it was stopped for more than an hour as the fans of  the two teams had to be taken out of the gym. 
In the middle of the second quarter when the match was stopped Lirija was up 32-31. After the play resumed Kumanovo played better and after 20 minutes had 50-45 lead. In the third quarter Aleksandar Kostoski scored two triples and Kumanovo went up by 7 points and his team managed to hold on to its advantage until the end.
Kostoski was the top scorer for Kumanovo with 27 points as Ivica Dimcevski had 24.
