KK Kumanovo 2009 is official and strong candidate to host the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League

Sports director of EUROHOLD Balkan League Mr. Shay Shtriks and the Competition Manager Mr. Kamen Toshev were guests for the semifinals of the Macedonian Cup which is being played in Skopje between 28nd and 31st of March. They watched both semifinal games in which MZT Skopje and KK Kumanovo 2009 won and went through to the final. The visit in Skopje was used also for a meeting with the Macedonian basketball federation and the president of KK Kumanovo 2009 because the team is a candidate to host the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League.
The option of Skopje to host the Final 4 was dismissed and Kumanovo made their offer to EUROHOLD Balkan League how to resolve the technical and organizational issues regarding such an event according to the Official regulations of the regional tournament. What they offered is completely realistic and positive and they have the full support of the local federation. After the meeting it can be confirmed that KK Kumanovo 2009 is official and strong candidate to host the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League.
On Wednesday, 3rd of April, Sports Director Shay Shtriks has arranged meeting with the president of the other candidate - the first champion of the tournament BC Rilski Sportist. The Bulgarian team also has applied to host the Final 4 and has ambitions to fight for its second trophy of the league. Only after the meeting in Samokov and after the management of the competion in Executive Director Mr. Asen Hristov and Sportis Director Mr. Shay Shtriks compare the two proposals, will be taken the best decision for the league, the teams and the basketball.
