Domestic cups: Kumanovo 2009 lost the final to MZT Skopje

KK Kumanovo 2009 fought hard but lost the final of the Cup after 71-79 to the champions MZT Skopje. Both teams played a very good game and were supported by their fans which made the atmosphere really nice and good for a real sports fest. Kumanovo reached the final after two very hard games before that and the players found strenght in themselves to play good but failed short at the end.
Kumanovo had 20-14 advantage after the first quarter but at the halftime break MZT was up 37-35. The champions managed to make 8-0 run in the third quarter to break the tie. Until the end of the game MZT kept its lead and won the trophy.
Uros Lukovic had 22 points and 14 rebounds while Aleksandar Kostoski added 16 points for Kumanovo. After the end of the final Kostoski was chosen for co-MVP of the final tournament with Damjan Stojanovski from the winners MZT.
