The group stage in EUROHOLD Balkan League to end with two games today
04-04-2013 | 09:30
With two matches from Top 6 today will be given the end to the group stage of EUROHOLD Balkan League. After a long and hard-battled season the teams that reached the Final 4 are already known so today′s games have no importance for the final standings.
First Kavala will host Kumanovo 2009 trying to finish off the campaign with a victory. In the first meeting between the teams they played a great game which was won very difficult by Kumanovo. Of course at the time it was important for the standings and today′s match is not but still both teams can perform well. Most probably they will be without some of their top players which will give a chance to some of the reserves. William Coleman is averaging 11.4 points and 6.4 rebounds for Kavala while for Kumanovo Uros Lukovic is with 16.9 points and 11.4 rebounds.
In the other game today Galil Gilboa meets Rilski Sportist at home. Both teams qualified for the Final 4 and know their opponent so this match can be a warm up for the decisive tournament. The coaches will probably give all their players a chance to show off on the court as they will play with no pressure on them. Jamar Smith is averaging 17.1 points for Galil while Mitchell Watt is with 12.0 and 6.8 rebounds. For Rilski Terry Smith is with 19.8 points while Branko Mirkovic has 16.2 and 6.4 assists.
