BC Kavala finished its season in EUROHOLD Balkan League with big home win. The team played against KK Kumanovo 2009 and won 95-62. However this means nothing as Kavala was already out from the Final 4 while Kumanovo in it. The home team finished with 4 wins and 6 losses in the Top 6 while their opponent has 5-5 record and will play against Galil Gilboa in the semifinal on April 19th.
The visitors had the better start and took an 8-3 lead but Kavala answered with 16-0 run and took control of the game. From then on the home team didn′t have any trouble and managed to build a big advantage until the final buzzer by winning all quarters.
Kieron Achara was the top performer for the winners with 20 points and 7 rebounds while David Tairu scored 16 points.
For the visitors Anthony Lee-Ingram had 19 points as Marjan Janeski added 11.
