Galil Gilboa will defend its title in EUROHOLD Balkan League on Sunday. The current champions in the tournament are through to the title game as they outplayed Kumanovo 2009 and took the victory by 85-76 in the first semifinal in Samokov. On Sunday Galil will play Levski for second year in a row while Kumanovo is going against Rilski Sportist for the 3rd place game.  
The game started very even as both teams were exchanging baskets during the whole first quarter. For most of the time Kumanovo was ahead by a small margin but no team could pull away. In the last second of the quarter Dagan Yivzori scored a triple and Galil went up 21-18.

The second quarter started with a 9-0 run for Galil and the team went up by 12 points with four minutes played. The lead went as high as 15 points but Kumanovo bounced back and at the break Galil led 42-33.

The second half started with a triple for Kumanovo but Galil answered with one right away. Kumanovo scored another one but then the champions made a 12-0 run that gave them an 18-point advantage. Kumanovo once again managed to cut down the deficit as in the last quarter it came down to 8 points with 06.30 minutes to play. Then Galil missed and Aleksandar Kostoski scored a triple to make it a 5-point game. Then the champions managed to  score 6 points in a row which was the decisive run in the match.

Yaniv Green was the top player for the winners with a double double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. Rakim Sanders added 15 points and Jamar Smith scored 13.

For Kumanovo top scorer was Aleksandar Kostoski with 29 points as he scored seven three-pointers. Uros Lukovic added a double double with 14 points and 10 rebounds while Anthony Lee-Ingram had 14 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds.
