Shay Shtriks: EUROHOLD Balkan League will not tollerate any bad behavior

During the second semifinal of EUROHOLD Balkan League between Levski and Rilski Sportist, the bench of Levski received a technical foul for arguing with the audience. The Sports Director of the tournament Shay Shtriks said after the game that he will not tollerate such behaviour and will instruct the referees how to control the benches for the final game.

"Such a behavior like the one of Levski′s coach Konstantin Papazov is unacceptable by EUROHOLD Balkan League. I will not tollerate such thing from anybody. If his team deserves to win he needs to be gentleman and respect the opponent. On Sunday I will personally instruct the referees how to control the benches. What Pavel Ivanov did to the spectators is also not acceptable and anyone who tries to do such thing again will be penalized.

I′m very happy that we had high level basketball, good atmosphere in the gym and I′m also happy that we managed to bring such great semifinals to the spectators. I also want to congratulate all the teams for the way they played in the semifinals. I′m sure the game for 3/4 will be exciting and I invite the spectators to come and support their team and then to stay for the final to support basketball."
