Domestic leagues: First bronze medal ever for Rilski Sportist

Rilski Sportist won the third place series in the local league for first time in its history. The team from Samokov defeated Balkan Botevgrad 88-75 in the third final game and made the result in the series 2-1 wins. This is the third bronze medal for the team this season after the Cup of Bulgaria Tournament and the EUROHOLD Balkan League.  
The team of Rosen Barchovski took advantage in the first quarter and step by step made it 18 points in the third period. Balkan tried to return, but the margin didn’t get under 10 points and Rilski Sportist won the match.
  Branko Mirkovic scored 20 points for the win and Terry Smith and Angelo Kaloiaro added 16 points each.
