New head coach for the champions of EUROHOLD Balkan League

Sharon Drucker is the new head coach of Galil Gilboa. The current champion in EUROHOLD Balkan League was without a coach after the end of the season as Lior Lubin left his position after three years. From that moment on the board was looking for a new name and they decided that name to be Drucker.
Drucker is one of the most famous Israeli coaches in the last years. In his career he has been a head coach of Hapoel Jerusalem, Ural Great, Lietuvos Ritas, Oostende, Aris, Montegranaro and last season Hapoel Jerusalem as well. Drucker was coach of Galil back in 2002/2003 so this means he is returning to the team.
Drucker won the ULEB Cup with Hapoel Jerusalem back in 2004 and in 2009 became champion of Israel as assistant coach in Maccabi Tel Aviv. Last year Drucker led the national U20 team of Israel to a third place in Divison B which was enough to qualify for Division A.
The manager of Galil Gilboa - Amit Gal, was happy with the appointment of Drucker and said that the team will have three main goals - to defend the title in EUROHOLD Balkan League, to qualify for the final of Israeli Cup and reach the at least the semifinals in the championship.
