Sigal Prishtina defeated Peja to win the Supercup of Kosovo

Sigal Prishtina is the winner of the Supercup of Kosovo. In the game against KB Peja the team win 74-64 after a better second half. Both teams will be a part of EUROHOLD Balkan League for the upcoming season and they showed that have the abilities to be two of the main contenders for the top positions. The Sports director of EUROHOLD Balkan League - Mr. Shay Shtriks attended the game as he was invited by the new president of the federation of Kosovo Mr. Erolld Belegu. He replaced Fatmir Gashi who resigned in order to take a state job.
The first half was very even as both teams exchanged baskets. After a better finish of the first half Peja was up by 5 points. The continued to have the advangate in the first minutes of the second half but with an 8-0 run near the end of the third quarter Sigal went in front. In the first minutes of the fourth quarter Sigal went up by 11 points but Peja responded with a 7-0 run and cut the deficit. However in the decisive moments the players of Sigal did better and eventually won the game.
Top scorer for Sigal was Tay Waller with 16 points and 11 apiece added Alban Veseli, Aurimas Kieza and Blerim Mazreku. For Peja Drilon Hajziri scored 11 points and Samir Saptahovic had 10.
