Levski with one win and one loss in two friendlies

Levski played two friendly games in two straight days in Sofia. The Blues first met Lirija and won and then lost to Cherno more Port Varna.
First Levski defeated Lirija 85-72 at home. The Blues started with a 6-0 run and led until the end of the first half. In the final moments of it the advantage went to double digits and after the break managed to keep the distance to its opponent. Top scorer for the winners was Hristo Zahariev with 21 points as he added also 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Ventsislav Petkov finished with 16 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds while 15 points scored Nikolay Varbanov.
In the second friendly Levski lost to Cherno more Port Varna 61-67. It was an even first half and after 20 minutes Levski had 1-point lead. In the third quarter the team started well and increased the lead but in the middle of it the team from Varna made a comeback. In the last 5 minutes Levski scored just a points while the players of Cherno more took a 6-point advantage after 30 minutes. In the fourth quarter they kept their lead and won the match.
Nikolay Varbanov had 17 points and 5 rebounds in the losing effort while Jumaine Jones had 15 and 7.
