The game SCM U Craiova - Levski on October 17th will mark the return of a team from Romania in EUROHOLD Balkan League after two years absence. This club is joining the competition to play his first ever season in European tournament and will be aiming to make a good impression. Craiova is joining the league after having its best season in Romania in the last campaign when the team was knocked out in the 1/4 finals. However in the new season SCM U Craiova will be an interesting team to watch and will make the life hard for every team, especially at home where they will have a big support from the stands.   Craiova relies on two very interesting games for the point guard position. One of them is very experience - the Serbian Rade Dzambic, and the other is only 24 years old but also has some games under his belt - the Estonian international Sten Sokk. Their control of the game will be very important for the success of this team.   Very big role this season will have Le Var Seals. He will be the main offensive weapon of Craiova and his play might determine the fate of the team in the competition. On the wing he will have help from experienced Nemanja Maric and Andrei Capusan.   Under the basket important roles are waiting Bogdan Popescu and Travis Bureau who can contribute both in offense and defense. The Estonian Reinar Hallik will add size under the basket while Sasa Topchov will have a role coming off the bench in the first few months of the season.   The head coach Andjelko Mandic will rely on very experienced players and a big support from the stands. This may be very important as the team will make its debut in European competition but still cannot be underestimated. SCM U Craiova will start against Levski at home and yet this match can give any indication for the role the team will have in the tournament.
