KK Kozuv reached the final in the local championship at the end of last season and surely the confidence of the players will be higher for the upcoming campaign. In the team′s second season in EUROHOLD Balkan League, it will be looking to do better than the last one when a place in Top 6 was just missed. Now with a lot of the players back Kozuv has more experience in the competition and will be one of the teams to watch.
Igor Mijalovic joined Kozuv last season and immediately became one of the main players. He will once again be the point guard but will not only run the team but also will have to score. The same goes for Dimitar Karadzovski who most probably will spent a lot of time together with Mijalovic on the court. Kozuv signed the experienced Dimitar Mirakovski who had problems with injuries in the last years and it remains to be seen what kind of conditions he is in.
On the wing Vladimir Filipovic and Miladin Pekovic are also returning and will be very important to the team. They showed last season that have the qualities to perform well and Igor Penov will come off the bench when they need rest.
Under the basket Aleksandar Shterjov, Slobodan Pekovic, Zlatko Gocevski and Austin Lee Dufault will divide the minutes and will protect the rim. In those four players there is very good experience and good height and they for sure will be a presence in the frontcourt.
Marjan Srbinovski will continue to be the head coach and it will be his third straight season in EUROHOLD Balkan League. Despite his young age he has history in the competition and will try to lead the team to a good finish as probably at least Top 6 is the aim.   Kozuv opens up the new season in EUROHOLD Balkan League with a home game against KB Peja on October 16th.
