Galil Gilboa signs DeShawn Sims, cuts Adrian Banks

BC Galil Gilboa made some roster changes in the last few days. The team signed DeShawn Sims who last played in Sagesse in Lebanon. There he averaged 22.5 points and 8.3 rebounds in 35 matches. Sims was in training camp with the Boston Celtics but didn′t make the team for the Regular season in NBA. He graduated in Michigan and in his last season in NCAA averaged 16.8 points and 7.6 rebounds.
In the same time Galil Gilboa cut Adrian Banks. In four Israeli League games he averaged 9.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals this season. Banks also played 2 games in EUROHOLD Balkan League where he had 13.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals.
Galil added also 21-year old Israeli guard Bar Maor. Last season he was a part of Hapoel Kazrin in the Second division and had 2.5 points and 1.3 assists per game.
