BC Levski took its second straight victory in EUROHOLD Balkan League after downing 91-85 KK Teodo at home. Here is what both head coaches had to say after the match:
Konstantin Papazov, head coach of BC Levski: "A tough game but the win is what is important. In Tivat for sure we′ll once again have a tough match. We had better shooting percentage but they took us out of our game. The only thing I didn′t like is that we had to play faster in offense despite the fact they were in zone defense for a lot of the time. The difference could have been bigger but I don′t think it will be important at the end of the season."
Slobodan Savovic, head coach of KK Teodo: "I′m very happy with what we showed. We didn′t have much time to prepare. We had a long trip, we played a game on Saturday but I still think we had our chance. Against good team such as Levski is, you can′t win a game if you let them shoot 7/9 from the three-point lane like they did in the third quarter. It was very hard. We got early in foul trouble with Savo Djikanovic and we had to take him out and had to play zone against them. I think we stopped Varbanov but we couldn′t stop the shooters. It was a great night for Levski and I congratulate them. Of course everybody′s goal is to find themselves in the Top 6. We have some hard road games in the first part of the schedule and I think the second part will be much easier because 4 out 5 home games are in our last five. This league is stronger and stronger each year. The organization is good and they know what they are doing. I have faith in them that this league will be a primary one in Europe."
