Domestic leagues: Very good home win for Kozuv, derby loss for Kumanovo 2009

KK Kozuv recorded an impressive win in the 8th round of the Macedonian league. The team hosted KK Rabotnicki in Gevgelija and handed its opponent first lost of the season winning 85-61. After an 11-1 run for the home team they took a 5-point lead in the beginning. From then on the hosts didn′t allow the players of Rabotnicki to be close and eventually won.
Igor Mijalovic had 18 points and 6 assists while Zlatko Gocevski had 18 points and 9 rebounds.
In a very interesting game from the same round KK Kumanovo 2009 lost away to KK Lirija 95-97. The game was close from start to finish with the home team leading most of the way. In the end the visitors cut the gap to just 2 points but couldn′t overcome the deficit. Royce Parran had 21 points in a losing effort while Ivan Miskovic and Vukasin Mandic scored 18 apiece.
With 6 wins and 1 defeat Kozuv is tied with Rabotnicki and Lirija for the 1st place while Kumanovo is following with a 5-2 record.
