Quotes after the game BC Balkan - SCM U Craiova

BC Balkan recorded its first win at home in the new season in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team played its first match in Botevgrad and defeated SCM U Craiova 89-62. Here is what both head coaches had to say after the match:

Aleksandar Todorov, head coach of BC Balkan: "For me for the first time this season we played 40 minutes in the same rhythm. We had control of the game except the first two minutes. If we take away those two minutes, we allowed only 52 points as until now the defense was one of our biggest problems. We played team basketball in offense. I′m happy. If we continue to practice and play like this, we are about to have a good season. But we won′t reach too far if we start to live with the happiness of the good performance in this game."

Milan Nisic, head coach of SCM U Craiova: "It was a very difficult game for us. On this night my team didn′t play with a lot of energy as Balkan held a nigh rhythm for 40 minutes. In three weeks since I took over we didn′t have a lot of time to change things due to the schedule of games in Romania and in EUROHOLD Balkan League but now we have to improve our dispicpline, most of all the tactical one. I congratulate the hosts for the win. This team has a good coach and I think they deserve to be in the Final 4."
