Domestic leagues: Galil Gilboa defeated the champions and league leaders

BC Galil Gilboa had a great win in the 8th round of the Israeli league. The team defeated the champions and current league leaders Maccabi Haifa away 79-76. This was the third win for the team since the strat of the season as with 5 losses Galil holds on to the 10th position.   Maccabi had a better second quarter and led by 4 points at the half. then in the third Galil managed to overcome its deficit and went in front by a single points and in the final minutes managed to win this tough match.   Rick Jackson had 25 points and 8 rebounds for the win as Kenny Boynton added 19 points.
