SCM U Craiova handed the first home defeat of Sigal Prishtina

SCM U Craiova responded well after its two previous defeats in EUROHOLD Balkan League by taking a huge away win. Just two days after losing to KB Peja in Kosovo, the Romanians met the other Kosovo team - KB Sigal Prishtina, and won away 83-72. This put them with a 3-4 record and with an important away win while Sigal lost for first time at home and now stands at 4-2.
 
The teams exchanged leads in the first two quarter and after 20 minutes the score was tied. Craiova made its break in the third quarter when the team made a good run to pull away. With a 9-0 run the visitors took a 12-point advantage and later it became 16. At the end of the quarter the Romanians had a good lead but in the last the hosts started on a 12-2 run and suddenly were down by just 3 points. Nemanja Maric responded with a triple and from then on Craiova led until the end. With less then two minutes to play a basket by Maric made it a 10-point game and the visitors criused on to take the victory. 
 
Craiova killed its opponent with the three-points shooting. The visitors made 16 out of 32 attempts for 50% while Sigal was just 5 of 25 for 20%.
 
Top scorer for the winners was Le Var Seals with 24 points. Mirko Kovac had 17 while 16 scored Nemanja Maric. Those three players combined for 13 triples.
 
For the home team once again top scorer was Dardan Berisha with 14 points as he also dished out 8 assists. Aurimas Kieza and Blerim Mazreku added 11 points apiece.
