KB Sigal Prishtina defeated KK Kozuv away in another dramatic finish

KB Sigal Prishtina won its second away game in Macedonia in this season′s EUROHOLD Balkan League. After beating Kumanovo 2009 in the opening round, now the team from Kosovo won against KK Kozuv 85-83. The game had a dramatic end and it was another thriller like we′ve seen many so far in the competition. The victory now puts Sigal joined on top with a 5-2 record while Kozuv is following with 4-3. 
 
Sigal played a very good second quarter in which the team managed to build a good advantage. In the middle of it the score was tied but the visitors scored the next 8 points to move in front. Kozuv cut the deficit to 4 but the half finished on a 10-0 run for Sigal and the team led by 14 at the break.
 
In the third quarter the visitors controlled the game and kept the margin but in the last Kozuv started to close the gap. The hosts made a n 11-0 run and with 03.30 left in the game suddenly cut the deficit to just 3 points. Then though Kendrick Jones first scored a 2-pointer and then added a triple to calm things down for Sigal. With 16 seconds to go Kozuv cut the deficit to 2 points but Jones kept his cool and scored two free throws. Mijailovic quickly scored another basket for the hosts and then once again Jones was fouled. This time he missed twice and that gave a chance for Kozuv to tie the game or win it. Igor Mijailovic attempted a triple and it came short but the ball was grabbed by a teammate in the air and he scored. The basket however was just after the final second and this gave the win for the visitors. 
 
Kendrick Jones had 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners as Dardan Berisha added 20 points. 
 
For the hosts Miladin Pekovic finished with 23 points as Slobodan Bozovic had 16 and 6 rebounds.
