Domestic leagues: New victories for Kozuv and Kumanovo 2009

KK Kozuv recorded another win in the Macedonian championship. This time the team hosted Pelister Bitola and won the game 76-66. It was a hard battle as the hosts entered the fourth quarter leading by just 2 points. At the end though they were better and took the victory. Vladimir Filipovic had 18 points while Slobodan Bozovic added 17 and 7 rebounds in the winning effort.   In the same round KK Kumanovo 2009 defeated Vardar 84-74 away. The visitors took a 6-point lead after one quarter but were up by just 4 at the break. In the second half they managed to come away with the win but it was never easy. Vukasin Mandic had a monster game and finished with 39 points while Ivan Miskovic scored 21 and grabbed 8 rebounds.    After 11 rounds Kozuv leads the standings with 9 wins and 1 defeat while Kumanovo is 4th with a 7-3 record.
