Galil Gilboa with a good road win in Kosovo

BC Galil Gilboa recorded a very good and in the same time very important road win in Kosovo. The current EUROHOLD Balkan League champions visited KB Peja and took the victory 76-66 in both teams last game in the tournament for 2013. After this match Galil now has 4 wins and 2 defeats while Peja is with a 2-5 record. The champions will visit SCM U Craiova in the first game of the new 2014 on January 8th while KB Peja will host BC Balkan on January 14th. 
 
In the last five minutes of the first quarter Galil made a 13-2 run and went up by 10 points. In the second though the hosts played very inspired and managed to close the gap. By scoring 5 points in a row they cut the deficit to 2 points but couldn′t tie the game until the break. Galil though controlled the game in the third quarter as the visitors went up by 10 points after a 6-0 run and from then on cruised on to take the victory.
 
The top player for the winners was DeShawn Sims with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Stuart Douglass scored 16 points while Drago Pasalic added 14.
 
Drilon Hajrizi finished with 15 points and 5 rebounds while 12 and 11 had Gerti Shima. Fred House had 10 points in just under 14 minutes but he left the game early due to some problems.
