KB Peja recorded a very important home win in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team hosted KK Kozuv and took a 68-62 victory. This now puts both teams tied with 4 wins and 5 losses but Peja has the advantage because they lost the first game by 5 points.

Both teams had trouble scoring in the first quarter as they had a total of 23 points. The second started with two straight triples for Kozuv and the visitors took a 5-point lead. However Fred House scored 8 points in a row for Peja as he started a 14-0 run that gave the hosts a 9-point advantage. Kozuv managed to cut its deficit to just 3 points later but at the halftime break the difference was 6.

Shortly after the start of the second half Peja made a good run which gave the team its first double digit lead at 11 points. Then both teams exchanged baskets as Kozuv cut its deficit to 8 and missed a chance to close the gap even more as the quarter finished with 9-point lead for Peja. In the last quarter Peja continued to hold on to its good lead as when Kozuv tried to cut it down the team responded well. With five minutes left Mario Edwards scored a triple which gave the home team a 13-point advantage, its biggest until now. Then the visitors made a 7-0 run and even had the chance to get closer but Mijalovic missed a three-pointer. The game was decided with 1.18 to play when Edwards scored another triple and killed all hopes of the visiting team.

Mario Edwards was the top player for the winners with 21 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds. Fred House scored 16 points as 10 apiece had Teo Simovic and George Oduwufa.

Igor Mijalovic scored 15 points for the visitors while Miladin Pekovic had 13.
