Levski recorded second straight win in Bulgarian championship as the team defeated Spartak Pleven at home 97-78. The Blues led by 6 points in the third quarter but then they made a 8-0 run to pull away. By scoring 9 straight points at the start of the last quarter the lead was increased further and they cruised on to take the victory.
Hristo Zahariev was the top scorer with 18 points while Djordje Micic and Jumaine Jones had 17 apiece.
In the same round Balkan lost at home 73-88 to the champions Lukoil Academic. The Greens allowed the visitors to take a 7-point lead at the end of the first half but in the third quarter the hosts closed the gap to 1. However Lukoil once again restored its good advantage and eventually took the win.
Ivan Lilov had 20 points for Balkan as Noah Dahlman had 16 and 20 rebounds.
After this round Levski and Balkan are tied for 3rd position with 10 wins and 4 losses.
