Shay Shtriks visited Montenegro for the Final 4 of the Cup

The Sports Director of EUROHOLD Balkan League - Mr. Shay Shtriks was a special guest to the basketball federation of Montenegro for the Final 4 of the Cup which took place during the weekend. He watched the finals that were played in Niksic and the trophy was won by Buducnost.
 
The topics of discussion were the new projects of the management - the junior and women balkan league. The Secretary General Mr. Petar Popovic of the Montenegrin federation was happy with the idea and declared that they support both projects. 
 
The idea is from next year Montenegro to have once again two teams in the competition. Both sides agreed on that and the management of the league keeps its position that if there are two stable teams from Montenegro, they will be accepted. There were meetings with representatives of KK Sutjieska and KK Zeta, who like to be a part of the competition, but the final decision will be taken by both league and federation.
 
During the meeting was discussed also the performance of the Montenegrin referees in the competition. The management of EUROHOLD Balkan League said good words about the officials who are doing a very good job in the tournament.
 
Additionally Mr. Shtriks and the people from the federation spoke also of the need the games to be shown LIVE on the TV. There are some negotiations about that and in the future more details will be known.
