Domestic leagues: Big home loss for Galil Gilboa

BC Galil Gilboa suffered a very big home defeat in Israeli league. The team hosted the champions Maccabi Haifa but had almost no chance and was defeated 69-98. After this round Galil holds to the 8th position with 8 wins and 12 defeats.   Maccabi started strong and lead by 16 points at the end of the first quarter. In the second Galil played better and managed to cut the deficit to just 8 points and after 30 minutes it was 9. In the last quarter however the visitors played very well and managed to win by a big difference.
Rick Jackson was the top performer for Galil with 23 points and 12 rebounds as Amit Simchon added 11 points.
