Five straight wins for Teodo after defeating Kumanovo away

KK Teodo continued with its great run in EUROHOLD Balkan League and took second straght away and fifth overall straight win in the competition. The team from Tivat visited KK Kumanovo 2009 and won 108-92 after playing very well in three of the four quarters. After this result Teodo now has a 6-8 record while Kumanovo is at 6-7. This was the second victory for the visitors in Macedonia as two days ago they defeated KK Kozuv.    It was a high scoring game in the first quarter as Teodo held a 4-point advantage at the end of it. However with a 7-0 run they went up by 11 points as after that they held a double digit lead which went to 15 points at the break. With a 14-2 run for the start of the second half Kumanovo closed the gap to just 3 points. However Teodo managed to held on to its advantage as the team had the lead in these minutes and after the end of the third quarter the difference was 4 points in favour of the visitors. Then they scored the first 5 points of the last quarter as later they made an 8-0 run which gave them a 15-point advantage and until the end Teodo managed to keep it and to win the match,   The difference between the two teams was in the three-point shooting. The visitors had 15 made out of 30 attempts while the hosts were 10 of 27.   25 points apiece for the winners had Nikola Vucurovic and Nikola Korac as Savo Djikanovic had another double double with 18 points and 14 rebounds.   Great game for the home team had Vukasin Mandic with 32 points as 18 scored Nemanja Vranjes.
