Weekly preview: Four important games in the next days

Four important games are awaiting us in EUROHOLD Balkan League this week. The battle for the Top 6 positions is heating up and every single game now is very very important for every team.   BC Balkan is hosting BC Galil Gilboa and will try to remain the only unbeaten team at home. However this game will not be played in Botevgrad but in Sofia due to the delayed opening of the new gym. Balkan is on a good run and now the team has very good chance of reaching even the Top 2. This goes through a win over the leaders from Galil Gilboa who will try to keep their top spot. Surely both teams can offer us a great game and Ivan Lilov, Stanimir Marinov and Noah Dahlman from the hosts side and DeShawn Sims, Gerald Robinson and Tony Younger from the visitors are just some of the names that can make a lot of things on the court.     In Macedonia KK Kumanovo is hosting BC Levski and will try to stop the bad run of six straight defeats. The team had a lot of problems with injuries during the season and now three players are leaving. However they have Uros Lukovic and Ivan Miskovic back as they with Mandic and Vranjes will try hard to defeat Levski. The visitors from Sofia need this game in order to keep pushing for the first two spots. The team signed Brandon Heath two weeks ago and he will made his debut in the competition but Levski is without center Nikolay Varbanov which may create problems under the basket.     KB Sigal Prishtina is hosting KK Kozuv and just like Levski will look to keep its good position in the standings. The hosts from Prishtina are in a good form and have no other goal than to defeat the last placed Kozuv. The visitors are still without a win for a very long time after a great start. They have eight defeats in a row and even three victories until the end probably will not be enough to reach the Top 6.     The last game of the week is between KK Teodo and KB Peja. The hosts are on a great run of five straight wins, including one away at Kozuv and one away at Kumanovo last week. Suddenly they are in with a good chance of going to the playoff but this goes through a victory in this round. Peja on the other side were also on a good run of results before they lost the Kosovo derby to Sigal Prishtina last week. Both teams will play hard but the hosts seem to be in better form at the moment.
