Galil Gilboa with a comeback win over Balkan

Galil Gilboa recorded a very good road win over Balkan. The leaders of EUROHOLD Balkan League defeated The Greens 77-71 after a great comeback in the last four minutes. With this victory Galil keeps the top position with 10 wins and 4 losses and is now certain of a place at least in the Top 6. Balkan′s chances for the playoff are also good as the team has 7-6 record. It was first defeat for Balkan at home of the season and it stopped the run of four straight wins. 
 
The first quarter was very even with a lot of lead changes and at the start of the second the things didn′t change. At one points Galil made a 10-2 run which gave the visitors an 8-point lead and they kept it at the break.
 
Galil scored the first basket of the second half but then Balkan made a 13-0 run to take the lead. They kept it until the end of the third quarter when the difference was 4 points and with a 5-0 start of the fourth Balkan went up by 9. With seven minutes to go their lead went up to 11 points, and with a little bit more than four to play Marinov scored a triple to make the advantage 8 points. However until the end of the Balkan didn′t score a single point while Galil finished with a 14-0 run which gave them the victory.
 
DeShawn Sims was the top player for the winners with 24 points and 7 rebounds while Kenny Boynton scored 16 points, including the decisive ones at the end.
 
For the hosts Ivan Lilov had 17 points and 6 assists as Noah Dahlman finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
