Answer of Mr. Shay Shtriks to the statement of Mr. Aleksandar Todorov after Balkan′s game with Galil Gilboa

The Sports director of EUROHOLD Balkan League - Mr. Shay Shtriks, wanted to answer to Mr. Aleksandar Todorov - head coach of Balkan, after the statement he made following his team′s yesterday defeat to BC Galil Gilboa. Here are the words of Mr. Shtriks:
 
Before I answer to the BC Balkan coach - Mr. Aleksandar Todorov′s statement after the game last night,  I would like to put some light on several facts:
1. EUROHOLD Balkan League is very happy to have BC Balkan as one of the 9 teams in season 2013-14. BC Balkan is very professional team lead by a very good coach with big experience and good basketball players, team supporting the young and potential players. 
2. Behind the club stand one of the best spectators in the Bulgarian basketball which have been supporting the team in the most correct way until now and we are happy to have them in our league.
3. BC Balkan are supported by the Mayor of the city - Mr. Georgiev and by Mr. Lukanov in a very professional way and we do hope other clubs will have the same support.
4. When BC Balkan registered to the Balkan League as official playing court is stated the new sports arena in Botevgrad - "Arena Balkan", not any other hall.
 

These are the facts. Now I would like to answer to Mr. Aleksandar Todorov for his words after last evening′s game:
"Mr. Todorov, why you are staying behind words or you are asking other people to pay your penalty if you speak? Why in the last few weeks when your team is loosing games ALL the world is against you and the team and never you mentioned that maybe your decisions or the players decisions during the game were not in good level and may be this was the reason the team lost? Last evening with seven minutes to the end of the game your team was leading by 11 points; with four minuets to the end of the game your team was leading by 8 points. BC Gilboa Galil scored 14 points against 0 points for BC Balkan until the end of the game. Can you explain to the basketball fans why "THEY" or the referees are the reason for this fact?
I declare that you are not going to be penalized and I am giving you green light to speak about the officiating of last evening′s game. Please show to all the basketball fans which big mistake of the referees during the last seven minuets created to your team such a big problem that you lost the game. We all want to be better and we will accept with big respect your remarks about the officiating last night, especially for the last part of the game. But be sure that when you provide those mistakes of the referees that changed the game in favour of the visiting team, we will ask also top coaches to provide all the mistakes that your team - players and coach - made at the same time. I will just ask you not to penalize me just like I am not going to penalize you.

You used the word "THEY" in your interview - do you refer to the EUROHOLD Balkan League??
If so by presumption, lets put some facts:                                     
THEY were promised by you and other club members that the new sports arena will be ready in November 2013.                                     
THEY were asked by you personally to make the programme in the way that the first 6-7 games will be away games.                                      
THEY accepted all the club requests regarding the new arena, the old sports hall and the change of the official hotel BC Balkan is using.        
THEY sent to all the clubs and federations letter asking their opinion about playing in the old gym and gave to your team the green light to play in the old gym even that this gym is not suitable and equiped for international games.      
THEY agreed with you and with your management that the game against Gilboa Galil will be the game of the opening of the new Sport Arena in Botevgrad.         
THEY sent to the club and to you letter asking to find a proper solution if the new  arena will not be ready for the game against Gilboa and we did not decide for you. You are the ones that offered us Universiada Hall in Sofia.
THEY refused to your ridiculous agreement with Mr. Papazov to play the derby between BC Levski - BC Balkan on 20.03.14 at 16:00h instead of the officially planned 17:30h. 

Mr. Aleksandar Todorov, please stop throwing sand on the eyes of the basketball fans and trying to protect yourself by blaming other people for the team losses.
"THEY" respect BC Balkan players, coaches, management and we have never spoken or acted against no one from your club. We support you from day one and we will continue to act the same to the end of the season. We are professional and we do hope that you will behave the same.
