Balkan stopped Teodo′s run of six straight wins

BC Balkan is back on the winning ways after the team defeated KK Teodo 82-67 at home. The Greens from Botevgrad played superb offense in the first quarter and managed to build a lead that lasted until the end. That result gives Balkan 8 wins and 6 losses and the team is now certain of at least a Top 6 finish and place in the quarterfinals. The team also has a chance of going to Top 2 but a lot depends on the next game with Levski in two days time. Teodo had its run of six straight wins stopped as the team finished the regular season with 7 wins and 9 defeats.   Both teams strarted scoring a lot from the first tip off but Balkan made a 10-0 run to take a 12-point advantage. Ivan Lilov was great in those minutes as he made four triples and the hosts scored a lot in the first quarter to have a good lead. In the second it went up to 20 points but it came down by a point before the break. After it Balkan controlled the score but in the last quarter Teodo started with an 18-3 run that cut the deficit to just 7 points. However then Pavel Marinov scored two free throws and Ivan Lilov made a basket and that was enough for the hosts.   Ivan Lilov had a great game for the winners scoring seven triples and finishing with 30 points. Logan Stutz had 12 points and 6 rebounds while Pavel Marinov added 11 points.   For the visitors Nikola Vucurovic and Savo Djikanovic (10 rebounds) had 20 points apiece.
