Domestic leagues: Kozuv defeated Kumanovo for second time in just a few days

KK Kozuv hosted KK Kumanovo 2009 on Wednesday in EUROHOLD Balkan League and the home team won the match. Two days later both teams met once again, this time in Macedonian champioship, and once again Kozuv won at home after a score of 98-87. This was the last round of the regular season but now the teams will continue in the Superleague. Kozuv has 14 wins and 2 defeats for a second place while Kumanovo is 4th with a 9-7 record.   The decisive moment in the game came in the third quarter. After the first half the hosts were up by a single point but after winning the third quarter 22-10 they managed to keep their lead until the end.   Slaven Cupkovic was the top scorer for the winners with 17 points while Aleksandar Sterjov had 16. For the visitors Ivan Miskovic had 22 points as Vukasin Mandic had 21.
