The new Arena in Botevgrad was officially opened

Today was officially openew the new gym in Botevgrad. It attracted a lot of attention and over 4 000 people visited the ceremony. The team of Balkan will play its games in the new arena.   At the opening ceremony were present the chairman of the parlament - Mr. Mihail Mikov, the minister of regional development - Mrs. Desislava Terzieva, the deputy sports minister Mr. Yordan Yovchev, the former prime minister - Mr. Boyko Borisov, the president of Bulgarian basketball federation - Mr. Georgi Glushkov and of course the mayor of Botevgrad Mr. Georgi Georgiev. Mr. Shay Shtriks - Sports Director of EUROHOLD Balkan Leaguea and Mr. Kamen Toshev - Competition Manager of EUROHOLD Balkan League were also guests of the ceremony.   "Arena Botevgrad" has a capacity of 4500 seats and will be for nine different type of sports. After the opening ceremony the spectacle "Botevgrad glory" took place with over 1 000 participants.
