Domestic leagues: SCM U Craiova finished the regular season in 7th position

SCM U Craiova finished with a defeat the regular season in Romanian championship. The team visited the leaders Ploiesti in the last round and lost 76-90. By this result Craiova moved down to 7th position with 16-10 record and will meet Oradea in the playoffs.   Ploiesti used a great second quarter to pull away by 9 points. Then the hosts managed to control the game and finished off with a victory.   Mirko Kovac was the top scorer for Craiova with 19 points. Andrei Capusan and Josip Naletilic also played well and had 14 points apiece.
