Domestic leagues: Balkan opened the new gym with a win, Levski with important away victory

Balkan won its first match in the new "Arena Botevgrad". The team hosted Yambol and won convincingly 94-71. The home team made 18 three-pointers and played very well in the last ten minutes. A 13-4 start of the last quarter made the difference 10 points and until the end The Greens increased their advantage.
Pavel Marinov had 24 points and 7 assists in leading his team to the win. Noah Dahlman had 15 points while Ivan Lilov scored 14.
Levski had a dramatic 86-84 away win over Cherno more in Varna. The game was decided with 4 seconds to go when Brandon Heath was fouled and made two free throws. He gave his team the lead and then the hosts didn′t have the time to score.
Lionel Chalmers was the top scorer for the winners with 21 points as Mike Wilkinson added 19.
After this round Balkan has 15 wins and 5 losses for third place but with game less then the second Cherno more. Levski is fourth with a 14-6 record.
