Domestic leagues: Home win for Balkan and Levski

Balkan recorded another easy home win in Bulgarian league after defeating Spartak Pleven 96-65. The team from Botevgrad started great and scored the first 10 points of the match which secured a good advantage which they increased until the end. Stanimir Marinov scored 7 triples on his way to 28 points and 9 rebounds while Noah Dahlman, Aleksandar Gruev and Martin Marinov scored 12 points apiece.   Levski also had a home game this round the The Blues won at home 83-69 against Yambol. The boys of Titi Papazov made a 19-1 run between the first and second quarter to take a big lead which was enough until the end. Lionel Chalmers and Brandon Heath had 15 points apiece for the win.   Balkan is currently second in the standings with 16-5 record while Levski is third with 15-6. Both teams have three games left until the end of the regular season.
