Konstantin Papazov, head coach of Levski: I would′ve also chosen Prishtina to host the Final 4

BC Levski was one of the teams that applied to host the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The Blues from Sofia were in a competition with KB Sigal Prishtina and the decision was in favour of the team from Prishtina. Levski defeated Yambol in the local league and after the end of the match their head coach - Konstantin Papazov, spoke about the victory and of course about the upcoming Final 4:
"There was no pressure and we controlled the game. However I′m not happy with the moments when we lose our focus. We started very aggressivelly and managed to build a big lead.
We are entering a tough run of games as a number. In the next 9 days we′ll play three matches from the local league and until there is a chance to fight for the second place, we′ll try.
We are also preparing for the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League where we need to enter with confidence. I didn′t want to host the event in order to have an advantage, because we have the best team and we have the potential to win in Prishtina as well. I wanted it because of the 100 years anniversart of Levski. In Bulgaria hosting such event means a lot of expenses and doesn′t generate big income. We couldn′t have a better offer than Sigal Prishtina if we talk strictly businnes. We are not unhappy because if I was the owner of EUROHOLD Balkan League I would also have chosen Prishtina with the conditions they offered." News
