Semifinal 2 preview: The hosts against the champions

The second semifinal of EUROHOLD Balkan League will see the hosts of the Final 4 - KB Sigal Prishtina, go out against the champions from BC Galil Gilboa. This is another game that will provide us with a lot of excitement and without doubt with a lot of emotions and a great atmosphere.
 
The American duo of Kenny Boynton and Gerald Robinson will run the point guard position for Galil and on the other side they will side another American duo - Kendrick Jones and Jamar Diggs. Boynton is averaging 15.1 points while Robinson is with 13.7 so far. The Israeli Nimrod Tischman is also playing an important role in the backcourt with his 4.6 assists per game. For the hosts Jones is one of the top players with 13.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists. Alongside him at position 2 we′ll see Dardan Berisha who is the best player of Sigal with his 18.1 points and 4.3 rebounds. If his three-point shooting gets going then he is unstoppable. Berisha is the key for this team′s success and his performance will determine a lot. With Berisha there is also Tay Waller who is very important to this team. The American has good middle range shooting and always plays with a high energy level. The captain Edmond Azemi′s role is also not to be underestimated not that much with the scoring but with the defense and his trying to lift the team. For Galil we are also going to seen Stu Douglas and Amit Simhon playing on the wings and try to stop the best weapons of the home team.
 
Under the basket the champions will count on the big bodies of Rick Jackson, Tonny Younger, DeShawn Sims and to a lesser extent on Anton Kazarnovski. They will try to get an advantage on the boards and Jackson and Sims will also need to provide some scoring. Sigal will try to answer with the local big guy Blerim Mazreku and Aurimas Kieza who has a very very important role in the team. From the bench will come Andrejs Seljakovs and Alban Veseli and their task will be to prevent the opposition from scoring and to grab the rebounds.
 
There is no question the gym will be packed and the atmosphere will be a great one. This is something that will certainly help the home side but we′ll see if the experience of Galil will prove to be just enough.
