Aleksandar Todorov: We controlled the game and deserved to win

Balkan finished third in EUROHOLD Balkan League after defeating Sigal Prishtina. Here is what the head coach of The Greens - Aleksandar Todorov, had to say after the victory:   "First I want to thank the hosts for making an excellent organization for this even. They proved that they deserved to welcome the best four teams in EUROHOLD Balkan League.   Both teams were dissappointed after losing in the semifinals and especially after the way we lost despite leading 15 points before the last quarter. This was a consolation game. We had to play without one of our best players - Ivan Lilov, who even played injured in the semifinal. This gave an opportunity to other players who usually don′t get a lot of chance. We played good defense. Our main goal was to stop Dardan Berisha and we managed to do it. He finished with 10 points and 4 of 18 shooting. He is a really good player and we managed to stop him.   We knew that if we stop Berisha it would be easier. Sigal was missing Kieza who is probably not the best scorer but controls well the defense and brings a lot of energy, something that Marin Dokuzovski likes. Perhaps Sigal′s defense was one idea weaker due to his absence.    We controlled the game, except one period in the third quarter, and we deserved to win."
