Sharon Drucker, head coach of BC Galil Gilboa: Levski deserved the win more than us

BC Galil Gilboa lost to BC Levski in the final of EUROHOLD Balkan League and couldn′t make it three straight titles. This are the words of the head coach of the team - Sharon Drucker after the match:   "I think it was a strong game, like a final has to be - tough, agressive, the lead changed seven times. I felt though that Levski deserved the win more than us. They took more rebounds, they made the right shots on the right time. It′s one game and it went their direction. I want to congratulate them and also congratulate my players for the great journey. We are a young team, my first time leading the club. We went through a tough atmosphere against the home team in Prishtina. And in a final anything can happen.   I think we stopped them in a few actions, they stoppes us in a few actions but they controlled the rebounds - 45 to 27, including 15 offensive rebounds. It denied us from running and if it′s five less balls may be we can run five more times and the result will be different.   The season in EUROHOLD Balkan League was very helpful. When I see the players how they came in to the league and how they finished it, I see improvent and more experienced people knowing how to play in certain places. We finished this game with only 3 turnovers which is showing a good signal. This are young guys, I hope they′ll keep improving and for sure the league helped us."
