Domestic leagues: Galil Gilboa defeated one of the best European teams

Great win recorded BC Galil Gilboa in the second game of the quarterfinal series. The team hosted Maccabi Tel Aviv and won 75-71 against one of the top teams in Europe. After this result the series is now tied a 1 wins apiece and both teams now are headed to Tel Aviv.
 
It was a very even game from start to finish as both teams fought hard. In the end Galil managed to take a close but precious victory over one of the strongest squads and the top Israeli club and Euroleague Final Four participant. It is by no doubt a huge win for Galil and a superb performance against such a strong squad that will fight for the European title. 
 
Amit Simchon was the top scorer for the winners with 20 points. Gerald Robinson had 17 points while 15 scored Tony Younger.
